Individual Apple Pies
We recently received a donation of Holly Ridge Apple Pies:

Each case contains 9 boxes that each have (10) 3oz pies inside. There are ingredients and cooking instructions printed on each individual box of ten pies, so this product would be perfect for use by both food shelves and on-sites alike. The instructions call for deep-frying at 325 degrees for 7 minutes, but we baked them at 425 degrees until golden, and they turned out fine.
Tip: If you want to get fancy you can brush with water and sprinkle on a little cinnamon and sugar before baking, or drizzle on a powdered sugar glaze after baking. Yum!
