Food Rescue
"Food Rescue" collects donated products from retail stores to distribute to people in need. Second Harvest Heartland operates 6 trucks in the metro area and regularly collects from more than 100 donors. In an effort to expand to outstate Minnesota and Wisconsin, agencies are now linked directly to their local participating stores.
The following information has been created to assist agencies in training store employees, servicing retailers, and reporting donations to SHH. We hope you find it very helpful. For questions or concerns, please complete this form or call our Food Rescue Manager at 651.209.7921.
