Second Harvest Heartland ~ Agency Zone

Statistics

Member agencies help Second Harvest Heartland tell the story of hunger at the community, regional and state level by providing monthly service statistics. These statistics are compiled and used to influence public policy, educate the public, and solicit donations. The stats are also provided to other hunger fighting organizations that distribute funding for food shelves and lobby on behalf of hunger relief.

There are two different types of statistics reporting; client statistics, and retail store pickup statistics. Client statistics are the standard monthly reports that most food shelves and onsite feeding programs submit to indicate things such as individuals served. The retail store pickup statistics are for agencies that pickup products directly from retail stores, such as Target.

Client Statistics

Statistical reports are due 10 days past the reporting month.

Reports are NOT contingent on your food sources or on whether you served food that month.

You must report EVERY month.

Delinquent reporting is considered non-compliance and will result in product hold (no access to inventory or programs) until reports are received. Chronic non-compliance may result in suspension or termination of your partnership with Second Harvest Heartland.
