October 23, 2023 - Del Valle Import and Export LLC Recalls Pork Chorizo Products Produced without Benefit of Inspection

Second Harvest Heartland has received the following information:

WASHINGTON, Oct. 20, 2023 – Del Valle Import and Export LLC, a Kenner, La. establishment, is recalling approximately 21,105 pounds of raw pork chorizo products that were produced without the benefit of federal inspection, the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) announced today.
